At the 50th anniversary celebration, I gave
Andrew and Jarrett their own disposable
cameras and they took photos from their
vantage point.  Their preferred way of taking
pictures was to tap their prey on the
shoulder, and then when you looked back to
see who it was, they snapped your picture.
That's why a lot of us appear to be startled
and/or befuddled because we were!  It
totally cracks me up!!!  I love looking at
these pictures knowing that they took them.
Grandma and Grandpa - picture taken by
Jarrett (I call it a Jarrett's-eye-view)
Jarrett is lying on the floor and Uncle Bergy striking
a menacing pose.  The boys always loved to harass
Uncle Bergy.
Alex watching Patrick and Andrew playing
video games - something is wrong because this
one appears somewhat normal.  Although since
Jarrett isn't in the shot, I'm assuming he took it.
Aunt baby Diane being photographed by a
short person - not sure which one.
Uncle Ron in the classic looking over the
shoulder pose.  They also loved to annoy and
amuse Uncle Ron.
Bob over the shoulder look - what I like about this
one is that you can see Jarrett's hand in the
bottom left.  It just proves that I'm not making this
stuff up, it really happened!!
Nice close-up photo of Andrew - could you get a
little closer with that flash, Jarrett!?
Gayla, me and Armond in the background - love
those golden balloons
Jarrett, Caroline, Andrew (nice outfit!) at the Bryan's
house in Orlando.
BELOW ARE PICTURES THAT WERE TAKEN BY ANDREW AND
JARRETT (in February 1996)
Sunday, February 27, 2011 - Bergs will be
married 65
years today!   This page was done on
my old program -- so that's why it looks kind of
"different."  I guess I was just lucky that I was able
to move it over to the new website.  whew!  Have a
great day, Bergs!!
Here's me being startled once again.
