Friday, August 22, 2008 - Today I started putting the 88th birthday party pictures on here....but I'm not going to be able to finish it.
Saturday, August 23, 2008 - It felt like Florida here today - very humid. I moved a bunch of the pictures onto this page, but I don't have
the text below each photo yet. We're going to a 15 year anniversary party at the golf course tonight. So, I'll see ya later, djb
Sunday, August 24, 2008 - Can you believe that just ONE week ago we were getting ready for the BIG birthday bash?! oh my! Time
sure flies. Speaking of which, Bergs flew back to Florida in a tropical storm on Thursday. It was quite harrowing for us people on the
ground. Apparently, the plane ride was pretty uneventful except for the fact that they seemed to be flying inside a marshmallow. Diane
said that right after they landed, the weather took a turn for the worse. whew! Glad they made it back to Florida safe and sound.
On Thursday night, Diane called and left a message that Wolfie's lost part of their enclosed outdoor patio which isn't totally surprising
if you've seen it in person. Hopefully, by the next time I'm in Florida, they'll have it repaired. I love that place. It's so down home.
