Happy New Year - January 1 & 10, 2010
Friday, January 1, 2010 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I started this page really early this morning and never
got back to it. Because I stayed up late last night
yakking on the phone with Ginny, I needed a nap
around noon. Hope I didn't keep you up too late,
Ginny. I didn't even stay up until midnight!!! haha
When I came downstairs, I checked the messages
and Nick had called. So, I called him back. He came
down and visited with us OLD FOGIES for the rest of
the afternoon - until just before six.
We had a great time chatting with Nick. He looks
wonderful and is very happy living out in Idaho. It
sounds like the perfect place for him to live. Laid
back and there's a lot of outdoor activities in which to
participate. He's been out on the slopes a couple of
times so far.
His motto is the same as mine: Let it snow! ~djb

Sunday, January 10, 2010 - I started a new page and then I
realized that I had already started this page for 2010. Right
now, we're waiting for Krissy and Bev to come over and visit
for a while because I have FOOD.
I'll put the Berg Christmas pictures on the other page that I
started today and try to get that up on here tomorrow. That
sounds good to me.
Today, on Picassa 3, they overwhelmed me with a new
feature that uses face recognition software to compare the
faces of people in your photos so you can have a separate file
with the all the photos of each person in your entire group of
photo files. Is that confusing? It asks you if the ones they
chose are of the same person. You then decide. You would
NOT believe who the computer thinks looks like whom. It is
awesome!!! more about that later, djb
