Happy Father's Day - June 21, 2009
Sunday, June 21, 2009 - Happy Father's Day to
Grandpa all the fathers and dads who read this,
plus as an added bonus, it's the first day of
Summer (the longest day of the year), aka Summer
Solstice, aka the days start getting shorter.  Did I
say that??????????

We FINALLY got nice summer weather yesterday
for the Eby Brown picnic at Lion's Park in Elburn.
Plus, we had Luis here working on cutting the
honeysuckle down to size.  WOW!  It looks SO
different.  Now, we can't hide anymore. haha

The reason I'm writing in here today is so I can
reference
the page from last year (actually not
one year ago) on Father's Day.  It was on June
15th.  That's when I had the "situation" with my eye.
It is quite disturbing, however, looking back now, I
would never have imagined it would turn out okay.

Now I know exactly what happened.  Not WHY, but
what.  First, my pressure went sky high up to 40.
THAT'S why I couldn't see.  When the pressure
goes that high, it totally obscures the vision.

Knowing what I know now, I now know what to do if
that EVER happens again!  Hopefully, it won't
because it's very, very scary to not be able to see.

Bob went out to the cemetery.  I'm finishing this up
so I can post it to the world wide web.  Have a nice
day.  Right now -- we have clouds.  Hope to see the
sun sooner or later.  see ya later, djb
The card on the left is obviously
from Jarrett to Bob.  I'm not sure
where the card is that belongs to
Andrew's greeting...it's hard to say.
But, there's those smiley faces!!!
