Daily Journal - March 1 & 2, 2008
Saturday, March 1, 2008 - Not only is today our 23rd wedding
anniversary but it's the beginning of meteorological spring.
SPRING --- hurray!!!!!  Let me see if I can find it under that foot of
snow in the front yard.  haha!!   Very not so funny.

When I went through the Hawaii pictures from 2004, I'm amazed
once again at how
gorgeous that place is.  It does define
paradise on earth for me.  The temperature is usually around 80
degrees
(right between 78 and 82 - my favorite temps).  sigh...

I just found out that my bank is open until 2 p.m. - so I'm going to
skedaddle in there right now.  Don't you just love the internet?
Everything is on here.  All the info that we'll ever need or not.  see

A one-way bridge on the way up to the north part of Kauai.
This view of the Pacific Ocean is what we went to see
on the north side of the island.
Bob & me under the banyan tree in Lahaina, Maui - Aloha
Friday.  We got our matching wedding attire at SS Kresge.
Another open area in the lobby.  It was hard to leave.
One final shot through the lobby as we were leaving the Hyatt.
Birdie that lived in a cage in the lobby.  He was out visiting.
View toward the west from our hotel.
Sunday, March 2, 2008 - We had a really great time at
Rosita's last night.  I wanted us to sit at the round table but it
was too small for 8 of us, so we sat at two squares.

For some reason, everything Uncle Ron said made me laugh.
He was so funny.  We start out fairly quiet and reserved, and
then we don't necessarily get rowdy, just exuberant and sort
of loud laughs....but in a good way.

The snow is slowly melting.  We have to get the ice off the
driveway in front of the shed because the melting snow has
nowhere to go except INSIDE the shed.  Poor Juanita.

Better go take care of business.  see ya later, djb
