Sunday, March 1, 2009 - Not only is today our 24th wedding anniversary
but it's the beginning of meteorological spring.  Did someone say
SPRING?  Hurray!!!!!   On Friday, I took a picture of the first robin I've
actually seen.  I've been hearing them sing since the first of February but
they've been hiding somewhere.

When I went through the Hawaii pictures from 2004, I'm amazed once
again at how
gorgeous that place is.  It does define paradise on earth for
me.  The temperature is usually around 80 degrees
(right between 78
and 82 - my favorite temps)
.  sigh...  There's a slide show with some
pictures from the first part of our trip at:
 Happy Anniversary

My printer finally bit the dust, so I'm going to have to get a new one sooner
rather than later.  It's always something, isn't it.  We're going to Red
Lobster to see Larry and his friends.  I think Lobster Fest is going on now.
hahaha bye.  see ya later, djb
A one-way bridge on the way up to the north part of Kauai.
This view of the Pacific Ocean is what we went to see
on the north side of the island.

Another open area in the lobby.  It was hard to leave.
One final shot through the lobby as we were leaving the Hyatt.
Birdie that lived in a cage in the lobby.  He was out visiting.
View toward the west from our hotel.
The Pacific Ocean and a beach and some folks enjoying it.
Weird looking tropical tree - very cool root system.
